C3 Marylebone Regents Park and Mayfair Loop (London West End and Park Tour) - 11 Km

INTRODUCTION

This collection of five routes covers the Northern side of Central London and the West End.

The L11 Piccadilly and Jermyn Street Gentleman’s Shopping route covers the sights and shops along these streets, including the Ritz, the Royal Academy, Burlington Arcade, Fortnum and Mason, and Piccadilly Circus.

The L12 Regent and Carnaby Street Trendy Shopping route covers the shopping areas around Regent Street, Beak Street, Carnaby Street, and Great Marlborough Street.

The R12 Oxford Street to Baker Street route takes you past the BBC, Portland Place and a tour around Regents Park before ending up at the Sherlock Holmes Museum at Baker Street.

The R13 Baker Street to Marble Arch route covers Marylebone High Street, the Wallace Collection, Wigmore Street, Cavendish Square and the departmental stores along the western side of Oxford Street, ending at Marble Arch.

The R14 Marble Arch to Hyde Park Corner route takes you by Hyde Park Corner and Park Lane before heading into Mayfair past Mount Street, Berkley Square, Shepherd Market, and the western end of Piccadilly by Green Park, finishing off at Hyde Park Corner.

WHAT THE ROUTE LOOKS LIKE AT SPEED (11 KM IN 5 MINUTES)





BEST TIME

Morning—The third and fourth sections are reasonably quiet. Most of the first, second, and fourth sections will be busy. The best time to do this route is on weekends in the early morning when it is quiet and free from crowds and heavy traffic.

Day - The first, second, and fourth sections will be busy during the day.

Evenings - The first, second, and fourth sections will be busy during the early evening.


To get to know the area, it's recommended that you repeat the route several times to familiarize yourself with the places along the way and start building your unique relationships with this area of London.
